IP PowerSystems with innovative filling technologies at The Battery Show Europe
Again the whole battery supply chain met in Stuttgart this May and IP PowerSystems was amongst them for the 5th time in a row.The filling of lithium-ion battery cells is a challenge for many battery cell researchers and manufacturers. The specialists from IP PowerSystems have taken on this challenge and presented several suitable electrolyte filling machines for all types of battery and capacitor cells at this year's Battery Show Europe.
An Electrolyte Jet for filling pouch cells in the vacuum chamber, which can be fully automated, was demonstrated at booth 10-J31. But the Electrolyte Injector for hard case filling (round or prismatic) or a filling process without a dry room were also presented.
The technologies from IP PowerSystems offer numerous advantages, especially for R&D, pilot lines or up to medium-sized series: They enable fast, clean and precise filling, very good traceability and evaluability, since the filling data is reported back live and numerous flexible parameters.
The IP PowerSystems team will be there again next year.
